Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Yihe Clothing Limited (“Yihe”) collects and uses personal data on yiheclothing.shop. We handle personal data in line with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong (“PDPO”) and the data protection principles in Schedule 1 to that Ordinance.
1. What we collect
- Identity and contact: full name, email, phone, and the invoice name you give at checkout;
- Delivery: floor or unit, building name (if any), street, district, and region in Hong Kong;
- Order notes: the pieces, sizes and quantities in your cart, payment method chosen (FPS, card or bank), and messages sent through the contact form;
- Technical data: pages viewed, time, device type and IP address, collected automatically when you use the site;
- Preference: cart contents stored in your browser under the localStorage key yiheclothingCart.
2. Why we use it
- To take and fulfil orders, issue an invoice, and speak with you about delivery;
- To confirm payment and reduce fraud;
- To answer the contact form;
- To send product updates and promotional notices by email or SMS/RCS, only where you have ticked the consent box (you may reply STOP);
- To keep the site stable and secure.
3. PDPO principles
We collect data for a lawful purpose related to our Hong Kong retail business, and only data that is adequate but not excessive (DPP1). We take practicable steps to keep data accurate (DPP2), to use it for the purposes stated here or a directly related purpose unless you consent otherwise (DPP3), and to protect it against unauthorised access (DPP4). This policy is the statement of our practices (DPP5). You may request access and correction (DPP6).
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share the minimum needed with delivery partners, payment processors (including Faster Payment System participants, card acquirers and banks), and with public authorities when Hong Kong law requires it. Those parties may only use the data to perform their task for us or as the law allows.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and localStorage to remember the cart and to measure basic use of the site. You can block cookies in your browser; some functions, including checkout, may then fail. Cart data stays on your device until you clear it or complete an order.
6. Retention and security
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose or as required by Hong Kong law (for example, business records for tax). We use HTTPS and restrict staff access. No method of transmission is completely secure; we take practicable steps required by DPP4.
7. Your rights
Under sections 18 and 22 of the PDPO you may request a copy of your personal data and ask us to correct it. Write to business@yiheclothing.shop or call +85298156420. We may charge a fee allowed by the Ordinance for a data access request. You may also complain to the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data in Hong Kong. Direct marketing consent can be withdrawn at any time by replying STOP or by emailing us; we will then stop using your data for that purpose (PDPO Part 6A).
8. Direct marketing
If you tick the promotional box, we may send you notices about Yihe products, restocks and offers. We will not use your data for direct marketing without that consent. Each message includes a way to opt out.
9. Changes
The version in force is the one on this page, with the date at the top. Please read it again from time to time if you keep using the site.
